Eligible businesses are able to use the ATO Instant Asset Write-Off again the cost of Fuel Storage Tanks.
For any companies looking to purchase a fuel storage tank and/or dispensing equipment or to upgrade existing ageing fuel dispensing tanks, pumps or metering equipment, new increased ATO rules mean that you may be able to write-off the full cost of new fuel equipment and accessories.
Take advantage of the increased limits now while they are still available. Current increased ATO limits of up to $150,000 are available. These new limits are also available to more businesses than ever before.
Under the instant asset write-off, eligible businesses are able to:
Immediately write off the cost of each asset that cost less than the threshold;
Claim a tax deduction for the business portion of the purchase cost in the year the asset is first used or installed ready for use;
Instant asset write-off can be used for both new and second-hand assets. Some exclusions and limits apply.
